SOUND OF HELL is a project by photographer Milan van Dril and Together& (Joachim Baan, Christoph van Veghel). The 152-page photo book is a collection of photography, film stills, rave flyers, and shaved heads captured on and around the set of Jim Taihuttu's HARDCORE NEVER DIES (2023). The result is a book that intertwines the contemporary gabber scene with the cinematic world unfolding in Rotterdam in the 1990s. From parties in the Rotterdam Maastunnel to dancing on a parking lot, SOUND OF HELL is a tribute to the people keeping this Dutch subculture alive today.
